ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY

Analytical

I. RESEARCH AREAS

Our researches focus on the improvement and development of analytical methods including qualitative methods (e.g. structuralanalysis) and quantitative methods including chemical analysis and instrumental
analysis (molecular and atomic spectrometry, electrochemistry, mass spectrometry) as well as the interdisciplinary tools as sample preparation, separation and purification methods, statistics and chemometrics, etc. These analytical methods serve for disciplines including chemistry, physics, biology, geology, pharmacology, agriculture, environmental, material and social science. Currently, the most interest research subjects are speciation analysis for inorganic and organometallic compounds in environment and foodstuffs using hyphenated techniques, pesticide and pharmaceutical residues and their metabolites in foodstuffs and environment, waste water. We are developing rapid test methods (test kit), biochemical and chemical sensor, microelectrodes for online monitoring specific compounds and group of compounds
