AUN assessment at program level – Bachelor of Science in Chemistry

From 6 to 9th September 2016, University of Science (VNU-HCM) welcomed AUN delegation to assess program level – Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.

The delegation included Prof Satria Bijaksana (lead assessor), Assoc. Prof Ornsiri Cheunsuang (assessor) and Ms Wilasinee Sittisomboon (secretary). The delegation used a wide range of methodology to assess the Chemistry program, such as: Desktop assessment based on the Self Assessment Report (SAR); Interview with stakeholders (Rector and his staff, Dean and her staff, academic staff, support staff, alumni, students, employers); Site visit to respected facilities and Audit of supporting documents. According to the assessors, the result of assessment will be announced in November.

Chemistry program is the second curriculum assessed by AUN in University of Science. The program focuses on training students to become lead experts working in education, research and manufacture.
